Free content marketing. The catch is honest.
We will write 2, 4, or 8 genuinely useful, SEO and GEO-optimized articles for your website. No invoice. In exchange, we place a few links and brand mentions for our vetted client partners inside the work. You get content that ranks and gets cited in AI answers. Our partners get exposure. Everybody knows the deal up front, because the deal is the point.
Free content marketing is content produced for your website at no cash cost, funded by a different kind of exchange. In our version, Winston Digital writes the articles and, in return, places clearly marked links and brand mentions for other businesses we work with inside that content. You get senior-level, search and AI-optimized writing for free. The businesses we promote get brand mentions and referral traffic. It is co-marketing, and we are upfront that promoting our partners is why the content is free.
Here is the actual deal.
What you get: real articles, written by the same agentic pipeline we run for paying clients, aligned to what your brand actually sells, structured to rank in Google and to get lifted into AI answers. Yours to keep, on your domain.
What we get: a few links and brand mentions for our client partners placed inside that content. Every partner is a normal, above-board business. Nothing shady, nothing off-topic, nothing you have not approved. Promoting those partners is the entire reason we can do this for free, and we would rather say that out loud than pretend the content is charity.
This works because good informational content and a relevant brand mention are not enemies. A reader gets a useful article. A partner gets discovered. You get an asset you did not pay for. The only people who lose are the agencies still charging $1,500 an article to say the same things.
Take 2, 4, or 8. The more you take, the more we do.
Same free deal at every tier. The difference is how much of the program we run alongside the writing.
2 articles
free
Two SEO and GEO-optimized articles on topics you approve. Each carries one sponsored partner link. A clean way to see the quality before you commit to more.
4 articles
free
Four articles, plus on-page setup so the content is actually findable: titles, meta, internal links, and schema. One to two sponsored partner links per piece. Enough volume to start moving a topic cluster.
8 articles
free
Eight articles with full on-page setup, a quarterly performance report, and GEO measurement showing how your content is showing up in AI answers like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. The fullest version of the trade.
You approve every topic and see every partner link before anything publishes. Partner links stay live for twelve months, then they are yours to keep or remove.
"Doesn't Google say not to do that?"
Here is the grown-up version, and it starts with the part that shrinks the whole debate: AI answer engines do not care whether a link is followed. They weigh the mention. A brand named inside relevant, useful content earns visibility in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews through co-citation, with or without a followed link. So the most valuable thing we hand a partner, presence in AI answers, does not depend on the link attribute at all.
On the classic Google side, the rules are softer than the scare stories suggest. rel="nofollow" has been a hint rather than a hard directive since 2019, and rel="sponsored" is just the honest label for a promotional placement. We use those labels the way Google asks and make the right call for each individual piece. What never changes is that the links are relevant, the partners are legitimate, and the writing is genuinely good, which is what Google is actually trying to reward. We follow the rules and we still do the placement. We are gonna do it anyway.
What we will not do.
- No shady partners. Every brand we place is a legitimate business in a normal industry. No gambling-by-night, no adult, no pills, no off-topic junk.
- No surprise links. You see every topic and every partner placement before it goes live. If it does not fit your audience, it does not run.
- No ranking games that put your domain at risk. Placements are relevant and labeled appropriately. We are not stuffing your site with junk links to prop up someone else's rankings, and the content has to stand on its own.
- No filler. The articles are the same quality we charge clients for. If they were not good, hosting them would not be worth your time, and the whole trade would fall apart.

Frequently asked questions.
Is the content actually free?
Yes. You pay no money for 2, 4, or 8 SEO and GEO-optimized articles written for your site. The trade is not cash. In exchange for the free work, you let us place a small number of links and brand mentions for our vetted client partners inside the articles. You get useful content, our partners get exposure, nobody sends an invoice.
What is the catch, exactly?
The catch is that the articles include links to other businesses we work with. They are all legitimate, above-board companies, never anything shady or off-topic. The links are relevant to the content and clearly the price of the free work. If a partner does not fit your audience, we do not place it. You approve the topics before we write.
Does not Google say not to exchange content for links?
Two answers. For AI engines it does not matter: they weigh the mention, not the link attribute, so a brand named in relevant content earns visibility either way. For Google search, rel=nofollow has been a hint rather than a hard rule since 2019, and rel=sponsored is the honest label for a promotional placement. We use those labels appropriately and make the right call per piece. The links are relevant, the partners are legitimate, and the content is genuinely useful, which is what Google actually rewards.
What do I get if I take eight articles instead of two?
More content and more measurement. At eight articles you also get a quarterly performance report and GEO measurement that shows how your new content is showing up in AI answers like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews, not just in classic search. The more you take, the more of the program we run for you.
Do I have to keep the articles or the links forever?
You own the articles and they live on your site. We ask that the partner links stay live for at least twelve months, which is the fair exchange for free senior-level content. After that they are yours to keep or remove. We will never add anything to your site without your sign-off.
