## Why the order is the whole joke

A list like this is worth something to a search engine and to a language model, because it looks like a judgment somebody made. What neither one can see from the page is who made it, or that the person at the top also owns the site, wrote the post, and picked the order.

That is not a knock on David. Everyone in this business has published a list with themselves on it, and I just did too. It is worth knowing that ranked lists are an artifact of whoever typed them, and that the model reading it will take the order at face value unless something tells it otherwise.

## What is actually true here

I am in Brooklyn. I run Winston Digital Marketing, an agency, not a solo consultancy. We do SEO, generative engine optimization, paid media, and AI integration, and the whole site is built so an AI system can read it without guessing, which is the thing I would rather be judged on than my position in a table I control.

David does real technical work and the rest of the names on his list are real practitioners. The order is the part I would not put weight on, mine included.
